The Elder Nurse Corps inspires nurses to access trusted support and resources.

Strategies:

1. Holistically promote mental, physical, emotional, and financial well-being for nurses:

  • Mental Clarity, less overload

  • Financial Decision Support
  • Spiritually Strengthened

2. Offer our experience to mentor nurses as they age and face their own life challenges.

3. Create a community for elder nurses for connection, creativity, support, fun, and education.

Initiatives:

1. Teach, support, and mentor nurses working in the local healthcare system who are faced with challenges that make work and life balance difficult.

2. Serve as experts and resources in adhering to the North Carolina Nurse Practice Act and the 9 provisions of nursing practice.

3. Advocate for patients and families who are trying to navigate the local healthcare system.
